About us

We are a family-owned and operated pizza spot where tradition and passion for crafting exceptional artisanal favorites come alive every day. Mom welcomes guests and manages the front of the house, while Pop works diligently in the kitchen preparing homemade crust from scratch. Our founders bring decades of expertise in baking science and culinary artistry. Todd began his journey in 1996 as a night shift lab technician at a factory specializing in dough production, focusing on flour analysis, enzyme activity, and gas formation. Over nearly 20 years, he developed and improved recipes for over 140 pizza chains across the country. His mentor, an experienced baker named Buck Nelson, taught him the artistry and respect required to achieve perfect handcrafted bases. This unique blend of science and craftsmanship is the foundation of everything we do.

The crust is carefully crafted using premium spring wheat flour, water, salt, sugar, oil, and yeast, with precise attention to mixing times, speeds, hydration, and water quality to achieve the perfect texture. We use 100% whole milk mozzarella and a sauce made from freshly crushed tomatoes harvested just hours before. In 2019, Todd met Rachael, whose hospitality and customer service experience completed the team. Together, they opened Pizzaville during the pandemic, right in the heart of Goose Creek, Louisville, where neighbors are not just customers but friends.

Beyond our outstanding pizzas, we offer a full bar, wings, subs, salads, and desserts, making Pizzaville a perfect spot to enjoy great food while watching your favorite sports. We also regularly host lively trivia nights, bringing together friends and neighbors for fun, friendly competition alongside delicious food and drinks.
